The emphasis of Mr. Feuerstein’s practice relates to commercial lending (including real estate, construction and business lending) and other bank and lender related matters, including mortgage foreclosures, workouts and bankruptcies. In addition thereto, he handles all aspects of the firm's commercial litigation practice, including business, real estate, lender liability, construction, corporate, insurance, mortgage foreclosure, landlord and tenant, bankruptcy, creditor’s rights and commercial collection litigation matters. He also handles real estate and corporate transaction matters for the firm, including commercial sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing and the preparation and negotiation of partnership, shareholder and operating agreements.
His client base includes financial institutions, private lenders, bridge lenders, hedge funds, real estate companies, fashion and garment industry businesses and a pharmaceutical corporation. Mr. Feuerstein is known to use his working knowledge of mortgage foreclosures, bankruptcy and workouts to advise lenders to better structure complex commercial lending transactions. Moreover, if a lending transaction becomes distressed, he is experienced in the ultimate workout and settlement of the matter.
Mr. Feuerstein received a J.D. in Miami, Florida and finished in the top 10% of his class and a has a B.A. from American University in Washington, D,C. He is admitted to practice before the federal and state courts of New York, New Jersey and Florida.
